H.E. Eng. Abdullah Amer Al-Swaha

Minister of Communications and Information Technology

The world we live in today will be different in the next decade, and our sons and daughters will have jobs and skills that we are unaware of today.
In preparation for the future and in order to be a global technology force by 2030, we must focus on the common elements of success in any journey, which include preparing and upgrading human talent, creating a stimulating technology environment that spurs innovation, and building societies that honor creators, innovators and programmers.
“Tuwaiq’s Himmah and Qimmah” is an executive program that was inspired by H.R.H. the Crown Prince’s speech, when he compared the vigor of Saudis to the Tuwaiq summit. It is the largest program of its kind in the region, which allows us to seize the opportunities of the digital economy. Thanks to Allah’s blessings, as well as the leadership’s support and empowerment, it will be the start of building a great future for a great nation for greater people, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and H.R.H. the Crown Prince, may Allah protect them.

Faisal Al-Khamisi

Chairman of the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming and Drones

We are witnessing a technology boom around the world, which is bringing about rapid changes that promise an exciting future full of new opportunities. The Kingdom aspires to join the ranks of the technologically advanced countries while achieving the goals of Vision 2030. With these partnerships and initiatives, we harness our potential to create an economic system for the technology businesses that contributes to building and developing capabilities, enabling it to spread a culture of innovation and technology locally. Our aim is to achieve the Kingdom’s ambition to create one programmer out of every 100 Saudi nationals by 2030, in order to ensure a sustainable and prosperous future for our great nation and its people, under the visionary leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and H.R.H. the Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman, may Allah bless them.
